Want change? : five small ideas to make a big difference

  1. Be a voter:        Your vote is your voice; make voting a habit.  Register or update your registration online at www. registertovoteMA.com
  2. Take five:          Set aside five minutes each week to call or write your elected officials about an issue that is important to you
  3. Start small:       It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the enormity o what you’d like to change.  Sometimes it’s best to begin with a local issue
  4. Meet up:            There is strength in numbers.  Join an organization, like the League of Women Voters, where you can engage with others.
  5. Read & reflect: Keep current by reading, listening, and watching, and double check your sources to make sure your information is accurate.
