Annual Meeting at the Florence Civic Center, 90 Park St., Florence.
Social Hour from 5 – 6 pm with appetizers and beverages. Desserts available while we listen to the speaker and during the business meeting. Those whose last name begins with A-M will please bring desserts and appetizers will be supplied by those whose last name begins with N-Z.
We are very pleased to announce our Annual Meeting speaker will be Javier Luengo-Garrido. His topic will be Immigration 101. Javier is the ACLU of Massachusetts Deputy Field Director for Regional Engagement. His work covers immigration, racial justice, police accountability, technology and civil rights. Javier began at ACLU in 2017 coordinating the Immigration Protection Project. He, himself, is an immigrant from Chile.
